The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

Throughout the Month of April

Bloom updates (according to Mother Nature) found at tulipfestival.org

We have 350 acres of tulips between RoozenGaarde, Tulip Valley Farms, and Tulip Town that create the spectacular tulip festival experience we have enjoyed for forty-one seasons. The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is a destination event for the Pacific Northwest, held during the month of April, celebrating acres and acres of tulips bursting into bloom in beautiful patterns. The fields of tulips are scattered throughout the Valley as are the many events and activities that make up the Festival. The fields are the crops of RoozenGaarde/Washington Bulb Co., Inc, Tulip Valley Farms, and Tulip Town, and due to crop rotation, the fields are in different locations each year. For up-to-date details, ticketing information, schedule of events, and more, visit the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival website at www.tulipfestival.org to download their 2025 field map and brochure.

We are delighted to have “Art in the Schoolhouse” as well as the P.N.W. Artisan Marketplace in the Vinery, every day during the month of April, 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Both groups will be showcasing the beautiful works of local artists and artisans. After visiting the Nursery and shopping from artists, bring your own picnic or enjoy authentic, Napoletana-style, thin-crust pizza provided by Arbia Mobile Woodfired Pizza, and grab a coffee or refreshment from Dane Good Coffee Company. We will have both vendors on weekends the entire month of April.

TULIP & DAFFODIL BLOOM MAP

Although the Bloom Map is a buzzword throughout Skagit Valley, it may be new to you!  Roozengaarde turns their map “on” once daffodils and tulips begin to bloom and “show color.”   This is a great resource to refer to before you schedule a visit to Mount Vernon.

Situated adjacent to the Meadow Schoolhouse will be Arbia Mobile Woodfired Pizza. Take out a handmade authentic woodfired Napoletana style thin-crust pizza or picnic on lawn chairs in the Schoolhouse Rose Garden. Most people who taste Arbia’s pizza for the first time say it is the best they have ever eaten!
